The Vestry of Saint Julian's Church

Kerry Bartone, Senior Warden

I am originally from Pennsylvania, born in a small
town outside of Philadelphia. After serving 10 years
in the United States Navy, I made my home in Georgia. I have been a member of St. Julian’s since 2006 and I am currently active in our Feed the Hungry Ministry—I also enjoy participating in all the many activities that are part of the St. Julian’s community. I am a huge animal lover, enjoy being outside and my goal this year is to try and run in the annual Peachtree Road Race!

Sharon Morton, Junior Warden

I was born in Atlanta and grew up there. After high school, I went to a career college in Tampa, FL. There I met Jim and a year later we were married. I was christened Presbyterian and later baptized Methodist. I became interested in the Episcopal Church in 1967 and was confirmed in 1978. We started attending St. Julian’s in 1982. We have 2 daughters who were raised in St. Julian’s. We also have 2 grandchildren, Robert and Lili. This is my second time serving on the Vestry, but my first time as a Warden. I love St. Julian’s and I’m proud of all we do for and in the community.

Stacey Crossk

I have been a member of St. Julians since 2002. I have taught Sunday School and Children's Church. Currently, I help with the youth group, Feed the Hungry, and coordinate Vacation Bible School. I have a wonderful husband and two great daughters and teach students with disabilities. I love to get together and have fun with all the people at St. Julians!

Rick Parker

I've been member of Saint Julian's since 1994 and sing in the choir. I'm a graduate of the Education for Ministry program and a big motorcycle enthusiast. I'm also the webmaster. I'm always ready for a good conversation, so I hope to see you during coffee hour after the Sunday service!

Keith Shoemaker

Keith Shoemaker was born and raised in Birmingham, AL and currently resides in Douglasville, GA. He is married to Michelle Shoemaker and is a manager for AirTran Airways. Keith leads the Youth Group and teaches Sunday school for the 6th - 8th grades. He is also actively involved in the alumni association at his college back home.

Sheryl Bowen

A native New Yorker and recent transplant from New York City where my husband Ozzie and I attended St Alban the Martyr Anglican Episcopal Church to Douglasville is a " In the Belly Episcopalian."

I retired as a Bank Manager spending 25+ years in the corporate and retail banking world and now enjoy fellowship and friendships made at St. Julian's. As a new member of the Vestry, I look forward to Serving God in this ministry and helping the parish grow.

Diane Torres

I grew up in El Paso, Texas, the youngest of three children. I was baptized and confirmed in the Episcopal Church as a child.

Finding St. Julian's church and meeting all the great people who attend church there is one of the best things that has happened to us since moving here. We enjoy participating in Deidre's groups very much. I also enjoy cooking, baking, gardening, reading, and taking care of our cats and dog.
